Welcome to the Intensive Care Society's State of the Art Congress 2026 - SOA26! The SOA 2026 Annual Congress may be of interest to your members, and the programme is now available. For those unable to attend in person, the three-day Congress can be accessed virtually, with delegates also receiving six months’ access to all session recordings.

Dr Shekhar Dhanvijay

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Dr Shekhar, Senior Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH). Dr Shekhar, who was away in Australia at the time of his passing, was deeply cherished by all who had the privilege to know him. Our thoughts are with his family – his wife Snehal, his children Samar and Tanvi – as they navigate this unimaginable loss. We extend our deepest condolences to them during this incredibly difficult time
