“Optimising Nutritional Therapy to the Hospitalized Patients”
Conflicting reports in the current literature has led to misinterpretation that clinical nutrition therapy is of marginal value in hospitalized patients. In this webinar, Dr Stephen McClave will share with us with his clinical experience and research on how true benefit of nutrition benefit comes from the early enteral nutrition intervention. He will be speaking to the most recent findings on early feeding and the effects it has on gut integrity, tolerance, immune response and commensalism of the intestinal microbiota. As well as which therapeutic nutrition regiments offers the greatest benefit to the hospitalized patient.
